ENERPOL – RESIDOL
Fuel Oil / LDO / LSHS – STABILISER & ASPHALTENE DISPERSANT |
| |
DESCRIPTION
Liquid product containing polar organic products and solvents.
|
| |
APPLICATION
Improves the stability of different fuels from different sources. It also breaks down heavy fuel molecules and asphaltenes during storage and transfer. LDO, being a mixture of Furnace oil and diesel require this additive for better stability.
It is used in LDO / Furnace Oil / LSHS storage tanks. It can be used in any other heavy fuel also to prevent sludge formation. Sludge collected in the power plants also can be dispersed in main fuel tank along with this additive.
|
| |
Advantages
|
Enhances the stability of heavy fuel oil in storage tanks. |
|
Prevents agglomeration of asphaltenes by breaking it. |
|
Improved combustion due to reductions in particle size. |
|
Minimizes plugging of oil filters and strainers. |
|
Brings about separation of emulsified water and avoids increase in viscosity resulting from emulsions. |
|
Sludge can be burnt along with fresh fuel. |
|
| |
PRODUCT DOSAGE
The recommended dosage is 1litre ENERPOL RESIDOL for 5000 – 10000 litres of heavy fuel oil depending on the magnitude of the problem. Additional dosage is required while using sludge collected from power plant along with main fuel. |
| |
USAGE
ENERPOL RESIDOL should be put into the fuel storage tank during filling up. |
| |
SAFETY AND HANDLING
|
Avoid contact with body organs. |
|
In case of contact wash the affected area with plenty of water. |
